- Arrive in Bergen, a picturesque coastal city surrounded by mountains, fjords, and the world-famous Sognefjord. If time allows, take a ride on the Fløibanen funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for panoramic views. Stroll through the UNESCO-listed Bryggen area and explore the waterfront wooden houses that define the city’s charm. End your day with a visit to one of Bergen’s renowned restaurants or cozy cafes.
After breakfast, meet with your local guide for a personalized tour of Bergen. Choose from several walking or hiking routes, such as a historical walk through the city’s narrow streets, a hike up Mount Sandviken, or a more challenging multi-mountain trek. The rest of the day is free to continue exploring on your own with your 24-hour Bergen Card, which grants access to local buses, museums, and other attractions
Today, embark on one of the most scenic train rides in the world, the Flåm Railway. Passing through awe-inspiring landscapes, the journey takes you to the village of Flåm. Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Flåm’s charming eateries before boarding a ferry for a picturesque ride along Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Return to Bergen in the evening and enjoy a late dinner and city views.
After breakfast, take a boat from Bergen’s port for a scenic fjord cruise through the Mostraumen strait. Sail through the Osterfjord and enjoy views of steep mountains, lush greenery, and stunning waterfalls. Get up close to the waterfalls as the captain steers the boat right beneath the rushing water. The cruise will take about three hours, leaving you plenty of time to relax and further explore Bergen in the afternoon.
- Your final day in Bergen allows for a leisurely breakfast and a bit of last-minute sightseeing or shopping before you head to the airport for your return flight.
